Nonprofit Spotlight: Taylor University
At Innovest, we provide investment advice to various nonprofit organizations. Each quarter, we highlight one of our nonprofit clients, and this quarter, we are thrilled to feature Taylor University.
Founded in 1846, Taylor University continues to pursue its mission of “develop[ing] servant-leaders marked with a passion to minster Christ’s redemptive love, grace, and truth to a world in need” from its beautiful campus in Upland, Indiana. The University stands as the oldest non-denominational Christian liberal arts college in the United States.
Taylor’s integration of faith, academic excellence, and a vibrant student life is unique and differentiating. The University has been ranked in the top three best Midwest college by the US News & World Report for 27 consecutive years. Taylor’s graduates have an impressive admission rate to medical school at 96 – 100%, and graduates also go on to law, P.A. and P.T. school. Fulfilling their vision of being a leading Christ-centered, student-focused university, Taylor holds a 99% career outcomes rate and a 91% student retention rate.
