Nonprofit Spotlight: Longmont Community Foundation

At Innovest, we are committed to advancing the missions of our clients. This quarter, we are honored to highlight the Longmont Community Foundation.

Founded in 1988, the Longmont Community Foundation enhances the quality of life in Longmont, Colorado, by fostering an inclusive, equitable, and respectful community. The Foundation promotes philanthropy and community investment through grants, scholarships, donor contributions, and community initiatives.

The Foundation empowers individuals to live “independent, generous, and creative lives.” Guided by principles of equity, the Foundation is dedicated to addressing the needs of marginalized groups to cultivate an environment where everyone is embraced and supported.

The Longmont Community Foundation makes an impact through various initiatives including their scholarship program, which supports students and inspires them to give back to the community, creating a  “full circle” effect. This year, 22 scholarships were awarded to 37 individuals.
