Employee Spotlight: Frank Cornett
Where is your hometown?
I’m from Lindsay, Texas, a close-knit small farming town with no stoplights but an abundance of charm. Our annual tractor pull and ATV event is a big attraction, bringing everyone together to celebrate.
Tell us something unique about you.
I’m driven by curiosity and a passion for lifelong learning. Whether it’s keeping up with the latest trends in finance or diving into a new hobby, I love turning complex information into clear, actionable insights. It feels like solving a puzzle, and it helps me connect with others in a meaningful way.
What do you like best about working at Innovest, and how do you give back to the community?
The people at Innovest are phenomenal. Whether we’re brainstorming and problem solving or celebrating others’ successes, it’s an environment of support and collaboration. I get the privilege of working across almost every business line, getting the opportunity to help and impact a wide array of individuals and families. I also deeply appreciate Innovest’ s commitment to giving back. The company consistently provides monthly opportunities for community involvement, whether through volunteering or supporting local organizations. It’s been incredibly rewarding to contribute to causes I might not have known about otherwise, and seeing the collective impact we make is inspiring.
What are your hobbies and interests?
When I’m not working, you’ll find me at the Bronco game or in the mountains—hiking, camping, skiing, or working on not 3-putting from a new golf course. I love traveling, getting to experience new cultures and locations, especially when it means planning the next adventure by the beach while relaxing with family and friends.
Tell us about your family.
I’m a proud fiancé, son, and brother. My fiancée, Erin, has the biggest heart who cares deeply about the people most important to her. Her dedication to helping others shines through her work in the medical field as a member of the imaging department. We look forward to our wedding day and the day we get to announce that we are expanding our family. My parents still live in Lindsay, gearing up for their well-deserved retirement, while my little sister recently graduated from optometry school and is now a practicing eye doctor.
What is your favorite dessert?
Hands down, my Aunt Melanie’s monster cookies. No one has ever been able to replicate them – although I welcome any and all who want to try. Every Christmas, she sneaks me a box to bring back to Colorado.
