Employee Spotlight: Robert Stebbins

1. Where is your hometown?
   I grew up in rural northern Nevada but have called Alameda, CA home for the last 25 years.

2. Tell us something unique about you.
   I’ve become a huge fan of Sumo wrestling to the point of learning some of the lingo and following every grand sumo tournament throughout the year. 

3. What do you like best about working at Innovest?
   My colleagues are fantastic and Innovest’s pure fiduciary service model is the only way I would want to work in this industry.

4. How do you give back to the community?

   Food and family meals are a priority for me and we volunteer weekly to deliver meals on wheels to those in need.

5. What are your hobbies and interests?

   The list is a long one but I would put travel, cooking, biking and sports high up on the list.

6. Tell us about your family.

   My amazing wife, Martha, and I have been married since 1998.  Martha has a passion for helping others and is a social worker.  We have two sons that I am extremely proud of, Teddy and Robbie.  Teddy is a senior at UCDavis majoring in environmental engineering.  Robbie is a high school senior looking to major in chemical engineering at college. 

7. What is your favorite dessert?

   Homemade gingerbread cookies.  It has to be from a very specific recipe though.
