Food Bank of the Rockies

Hunger is a huge problem in Colorado. One in 10 Coloradans do not know where their next meal is coming from. In response to this problem, Food Bank of the Rockies was founded. Although the organization started in a 900-square-foot schoolroom, today it is the largest private hunger-relief organization in the state of Colorado, serving more than 615 million meals for people in need. Last year, Food Bank of the Rockies and its partner agencies distributed more than 134,000 meals each day to people in need. This past Thursday, the Innovest team volunteered at Food Bank of the Rockies and packed 747 boxes totaling more than 21,000 pounds
